Missions

I was in Michael's (the store) today and they have those mission kits. They were about $20, but that is only the basic building (I think). It looked like they had all the different missions as well. There were lots of extras for sale as well. I know many of the kids want to build a mission, and that will be an option. They've also been asking if they can work as partners, which I think will also be an option (but make sure they agree on who will get to keep it once it's done). I am also looking into alternative visual projects -- possibly a PowerPoint presentation or an online book (Bookr). Talk to your kiddo and get a feel for what they want to do and what you think they'll be able to do. Please share any thoughts or ideas you may have about it. Thanks!

Hello Room 14ers!

I have a BLOG! Which is like email that everyone can read, more or less. This should be good for questions that everyone could benefit from knowing the answer -- like, "What time is the Luau Lunch for Rm. 14?" Or if you found a good web site and want to share it.

I'm new to blogging (and I really don't like the word blog), but I plan to post messages a couple of times a week. Feel free to post comments also!
